Pyjama Party & Other Fundraising Events in the Spring Term

posted 1 Feb 2014, 01:16 by Dorchester Firststeps

As we bring our Outside area to completion, both in our fundraising efforts and execution, we’re looking towards the rest of the Spring Term to fundraise for our next project (see In the Works for details).

We’ll be having our usual cake sale, held on the first Friday of each month  as well as chances to dress up at school for  Easter and World Book Day for a small fee. (See Upcoming Events for dates – details to follow.)

One special event will be our First Steps Pyjama Party on the Friday 28th February at 6:45pm at The Bungalow.  We held this event last year and it was very popular,  “The evening was very enjoyable”, said Noah’s dad, “Noah and I loved it and the rest of the children had great fun!”

Like last time, the evening  will involve a story and a sing-a-long,, followed by a break for a couple of biscuits and a glass of milk. We’ll finish off with one or two more stories (depending on attention spans!) and end the evening around 7:30pm.

Students and their siblings are all welcome for a cost of £1 each.  Adults and teddy bears can attend for free!  However, there will be a coffee/tea booth , so bring some change!
