Harvest Festival

posted 21 Sep 2012, 09:35 by Dorchester Firststeps
Next week we are celebrating Harvest Festival by making a collection of packets and tins of food for the Dorchester Food Bank. On Wednesday morning Reverend Harold is coming in to give a short service to the morning children and we will sing him our harvest songs that we have been practising. Our crafts for next week will also reflect Harvest Festival and we will be looking at the vehicles that are used during harvest time.

Please bring in your packets of food throughout next week.
They can include tins of:
meat
fish
vegetables
spaghetti
fruit
rice pudding
custard, instant custard powder

and packets of:
UHT milk
breakfast cereals
pasta sauce
rice
instant mashed potato
coffee
tea bags
sugar (small bags preferred)
biscuits or snack bars

Other items can include:
toiletries such as soap, toothpaste, brushes etc

Thankyou for your support
